HP Servers.com.au (an All Technologies Company) partners with HP

hpservers.com.au is happy to announce that we are providing our small, medium and large corporate clients with HP servers at unbeatable prices.

We provide end of line brand new HP servers with three years full warranty at truly unbeatable prices. (www.hpservers.com.au). So what does end of line mean? It means that these servers were never used, they were in HP’s warehouses ready to be sold or they had been ordered by customers but the order was later cancelled. Then HP decided to move to a new line of servers and get rid of any remaining stock. For example: HP has now decided to move its ProLiant server line from G4 to G5 which means duo core Intel processors. So they got rid of the G4’s they have in stock, with major discounts and we are one of those lucky business partners who are able to provide these servers to our clients at feasible prices.

Now some people might think, why I wouldn’t get G5 instead of G4, let us tell you some of our reasons:

  1. Most of the G5’s are duo core processors, they are pretty expensive. We were trying to quote a server for one of our  clients and the server turned out to be about $9000.00  where as our G4’s price was $4250.00 ex GST (Xeon dual processor).
  2. Do you really need a G5? Like do you really need the bleeding edge server that is super dooper fast. Do you have applications that necessitate such hardware? Isn’t that over-speche’d server for most of us, humble simple small to medium businesses even corporate ones? Usually the most demanding applications are SQL servers and they work great on dual 3.0 GHZ Xeon. How many hits per day is your web server getting? If you are running a Google sized website, then by all means go ahead and get the latest and the greatest. But if you want something that saves you money and serves your business for a long period of time and can support your business growth, then these end-of-line servers are the answer.
  3. These servers are upgradable, yes by all means; you can add hard drives, change them to larger ones, upgrade the processors, upgrade the memory, attach NAS (network attached storage) or SCSI storage. So even after four to five years you don’t need even to change them.

  4. Our Servers can be configured as fault tolerant, RAID , dual power supply. So if a hard drive fails you will not lose data (RAID 1 or RAID 5), or even if a power supply goes off, you are still in business.

  5. All the servers are under three years warranty from HP as we mentioned, these are brand new never used servers and still under warranty just like the latest and greatest servers. No joke about that. If something goes wrong, HP will replace the part, send a network engineer to fix it, no if’s no buts.

  6. We are pretty experienced in data centre and servers technology, we have been working for 7 years in such environments and maintaining high availability and secure data centres.  We know more about network architecture and infrastructure, complex network design and implementations than we know about desktops. So not only do we sell you servers but we are able to provide you professional advice on what types of servers you should use, how to build your network from the tiniest detail up to sophisticated interstate linked networks.
